Parque Evaristo Carazo, In Rivas, Nicaragua

Parque Evaristo Carazo (Also known as Parque Central) was decorated in pink, with yellow and blue plastic
benches.

Wooden benches lined the side of the park with its back to the church.
|
Mature trees filled the park, all with their trunks painted white.
|
A sign over a garbage can (not shown) read,
"Mantengamos Limpia la Ciudad" which means "Keep the city clean."

The playground in Parque Evaristo Carazo, Rivas, Nicaragua was unoccupied. Notice that all the
equipment is made of metal.

A small building bordering the sidewalk inside the park sold snacks. In addition to water and fruit
drinks shown, soda pop was also for sale.

A sculpture fountain was one of the features of this park.
|
A pink gazebo and bandstand stood at the end of the park nearest the church.

Here was one of several memorials to people located inside the park. Here, the town is beyond the memorial with the playground to the right.
