Marina Rust, As A Form Of Deconstruction
An old motor, perhaps used to drive a fan or to operate a pulley, sat silent and rusting in a junk pile at the Winchester Bay, Oregon marina.
A rusty rectangle seemed to frame leaves and paper on the ground below it. The six holes that bordered it were used to attach it to something in the
distant past.
A rusted cylinder with a circular opening lay among green leaves and grass and other junk.
A rust stain dribbled down the side of a boat on blocks in a dry-dock. The rust looked almost like the thinning hair of a former red headed
ship.
